About six months ago, I asked a friend of mine to recommend a firm to install a heat pump at our Lake Lure residence. he game me the McNutt name.

I put in a call and your man, rick Bayless, came within a few days and gave the situation a look-see. My wife and I were going out that night and rick arrived a half hour before we left. I asked if he wanted to stay in our absence and do his work. He said he would.

He must have been here a couple of hourse or more. When we returned, he had assesed the problems and had drawn up a plan of what we needed, along with prices. The bottom like looked a bit high, but my wife and I decided to go with McNutt, primarily on the basis of Rick's planning and presentation. He was a professional of the highest order, and we figured that we would get our money's worth.

A few days later, your installers brought all necessary materials and equipment and we had the heat pump working before they left in the afternoon. They were professional, thorough and obviously wanted to do a good job, which they did.

Rick came by within a few days to make sure everything was working well. It was. He worked out a schedule for the thermostat and punched it in. I haven't touched it since, and it continues to give us heat when we need it and cold when that's in order.

You’ve got one heck of a crew … and, it seems, one heck of a company.

My wife and I have had service contracts and equipment installations with McNutt for nearly four years. Our most recent experience, though, has been absolutely incredible.

Rick Bayless designed a second air condition system for us that had to be installed in an extremely cramped attic area. This, of course, required duct work and vents to be manhandled in the same tight space. And, it goes without saying that the equipment itself was extremely heavy.

We’ve had quite a bit of work done in our home with a few contractors … and, we’ve had mess after mess to contend with. And, that’s what we were prepared for in this instance.

Vic and his crew, though, completely surprised us! Completely professional … extremely neat and careful … punctual and dependable … and, personable and friendly.

In short, Reed, everyone from Rick to Vic was superb to work with. You obviously do a great job of employee selection and training.
